POSITION OVERVIEW The Machine Operator is responsible for performing a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the proper production and fulfillment of orders from manufacturing, packaging, and shipping of products. Machine Operators will work within a team environment to ensure a smooth and streamlined production process. Machine Operators may be required to work overtime based on customer demand. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ●Perform manufacturing operations on the production line and other various tasks including machine operations, shipping and fulfillment, material handling, following proper procedures and processes. ●Operate equipment including, but not limited to CNC Lasers, CNC Press Brakes, CNC Band Saws, Shears, Ironworkers, forklifts, and power hand tools. ●Ensure orders are filled and tagged accurately to the appropriate specifications and shipped without damage in a timely manner. ●Work with team leaders and management to improve quality and process efficiency. ●Visually inspect product, identify defects/rejects, and escalate issues as required ●Participate in quality control inspections as needed. ●Follow all safety guidelines, practices, and procedures, report any unsafe behavior or situation. ●Maintain a clean and safe work environment ●Additional duties as assigned EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE ●Experience in production/manufacturing industry preferred ●High attention to detail with ability to actively problem solve and maintain a positive and sage work environment. ●Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members and leadership ●Ability to work independently and collaboratively and under pressure to meet deadlines. ●Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
